With the Veterans as the main character, the film advances along two paths. In one, an interview is conducted by a local radio station on the Falklands, with the help of a translator, where Veterans explain their mission and the purpose of their trip. In the other, we hear the personal stories of the Veterans, who after almost three decades, feel ready to close this chapter of their lives. Through spontaneous stories told over the course of the voyage, we get to know the individuals on such a diverse group.

Stepping foot on the islands automatically opens a window to the events of 1982. The Veterans walk miles in search for their old battle positions, often called "foxholes". Some are reunited with an old pair of sneakers or with a flask of whiskey, left behind before the last attack. Other grow desperate not to have such luck.

Different landscapes and places reawaken, forgotten stories and anecdotes. The camera becomes the confidant of these men, as they bluntly tell their most  intimate experiences.
